There are a number of research institutes exploring how cannabinoids in the cannabis plant can treat a variety of neurodegenerative diseases, such as chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Athletes For Care will seek out opportunities for its members to participate in these historic studies to help research institutes collect data that would inform policy consistent with the organization’s objectives.
