Glen is a former Professional Hockey player with tenure and accolades in multiple national and international leagues including the ECHL, SM LIIGA, IHL, AHL, DEL, NHL, NLA. While Glen has reached the pinnacle of recognition by his accomplishments and awards, it's his nomination for the Bill Masterton Trophy during his career in the NHL that really stands out. The award was for his exemplary qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to ice hockey that is especially prized to him. Glen also represented Canada at the World Championships in 2006 which became a highlight of his career. His life growing up had its hardships, but in hindsight, those hardships led to his tinseled character. Glen knows firsthand the isolation that comes from being in and out of the foster care system during his childhood. Growth, understanding, compassion, strength and grit, some of the tools used in leaning to adulthood, can be hard to come by in the best of environments, but in Glen’s case, these became the fuel he needed to scale to the heights of a career as a professional Hockey Player, a dream come true. Glen has taken his experiences and winning championships in life to lead his mission of ‘service’ helping kids to follow their dreams, and create a leadership mindset both on and off the ice!
