While Rick Upchurch holds the distinction of catching John Elway’s first NFL pass, his accomplishments on the football field have withstood the test of time.  In addition to holding several Denver Broncos team records, Rick is also a member of the Broncos highly esteemed Ring of Fame.  In 2000, Rick was selected as one of the top 300 NFL players of All-Time by Total Football II, the official Encyclopedia of the NFL.  Rick spent many years coaching high school football in Colorado and continues to be an active (and beloved) member of the Denver community.
