Research
Athletes for CARE funds research for better solutions to physical, mental and emotional issues athletes face after a career in sports. By understanding these issues better, we can improve the experience for the over 2 billion people of all ages worldwide who compete annually in a sanctioned sport. Many of these issues also impact billions of non-athletes worldwide. We are grateful to our athletes who share their experiences which allow us to better understand solutions for patients everywhere.

Science Advisory Council
The Scientific Advisory Council is a working group made up of key members of the scientific research community who are passionate about the Athletes for Care mission. The purpose is to guide Athletes for Care in promoting, participating in and funding reputable research to perpetuate the Athletes for Care mission of health, wellness and safety for athletes. Council Members are from diverse backgrounds and bring two-way communication between Athletes for Care and the scientific and research community that is impactful to our mission.
